Why the conversation starts with the system
The audio concept centers on dual 15-inch Orion HCCA SPL subwoofers and Orion amplification. We want the design conversation to include the complete installation, rather than choose isolated components and work out the rest afterward.
Orion is our preferred prospective SPL partner. We welcome their input on the subwoofer and amplifier selection, impedance configuration, enclosure direction and electrical requirements. There is no confirmed Orion sponsorship to announce at this stage.
Keep the existing Alpine unit in the plan
The Jeep already has an Alpine Halo11 iLX-F511. Our intended direction is to build the source and supporting integration around that equipment while exploring Orion for the bass system. We are also interested in discussing appropriate supporting hardware with Alpine.
Those complementary roles are a project idea, not an agreed joint collaboration between the two brands.
The next decisions to document
- Confirm the intended use of the completed system and the available vehicle space.
- Discuss equipment and enclosure choices with prospective technical partners.
- Develop the electrical and integration plan around that selection.
- Agree the installation, tuning and test process.
No numbers before measurements
We are not publishing a promised SPL score or treating wattage figures in artwork as final specifications. When the system is installed and measured, we want to show the actual configuration, test conditions and results.
